In November 2006 the Christian band The Narrow Gate began writing and recording music and wasted no time booking shows. Based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the group has been cultivating a fan base starting in local churches and youth groups. With a passion of spreading the truth of salvation through Christ, the band’s lyrics inspire a youthful generation to “Own Their Faith.”

Lead singer, KJ McAleesejergins writes songs that compel the hearts of Christians to live a life full of faith and seek truth. By his side is his wife Emily, who accompanies with stellar vocals and harmonic keys. On bass, Phil Plasterer brings unique showmanship to each performance. In practice and performance drummer Cliff Gore rocks the set with energy and vitality. Aaron Lax is the rhythm guitarist and backs up the vocals with a worshipful style.

The band is continuously writing and recording new music in their personal studio that KJ runs out of his home. Songs primarily target relationships, life struggles, and a genuine love for the Lord. Since working as an established band for less than a year, The Narrow Gate is a creative powerhouse focused only on furthering the kingdom of God through their music. With a yearning to grow and share God’s Truth, The Narrow Gate strives to further their individual talents and walks with the Lord as well as within the band. The Narrow Gate hopes that as a ministry, their music will be heard by individuals from all walks of life, and that it will have a deep impact on their hearts and their eternities. The Narrow Gate is excited to see God’s plan unfold right in front of them and hope to be as faithful as He has in each of their lives.
